Sajal Aly and Bilal Abbas Khan shine at the 10th HUM Awards

The 10th HUM TV Awards, held on October 11, 2025, at Houston’s NRG Arena, celebrated a decade of excellence in Pakistani entertainment. Hosted by Hamza Sohail and Dananeer Mobeen, the event drew a star-studded crowd from both emerging fan favorites and seasoned industry veterans.

“Ishq Murshid” claimed top honors, winning Best Drama, while Bilal Abbas Khan took home the Best Actor (Male) award. In response, “Zard Patton Ka Bunn” swept other major categories, with Sajal Aly named Best Actress (Female). Mustafa Afridi won Best Writer, and Best Director was split between Saife Hasan (ZPKB) and Farooq Rind (Ishq Murshid). Hania Aamir received the Global Star Award, and Ahmed Jahanzeb earned Best OST for the “Ishq Murshid” theme. The On-Screen Couple award went to Bilal Abbas Khan and Durefishan Saleem, while Adnan Siddiqui was honored with the HUM Special Golden Plate for his long-standing contributions to Pakistani drama and film.

The night was also marked by memorable stage performances, with Asim Azhar kicking off the show with “Meem Se Mohabbat.” Ahmed Jahanzeb performed his award-winning OST, followed by Ali Zafar, who energized the crowd with “Masti,” and Ali Haider, who brought back “Zalim Nazron Se.” Mehwish Hayat and Humayun Saeed delivered a medley of film hits, while Ramsha Khan and Shuja Asad closed the night with a tribute to Nazia and Zohaib, performing “Disco Deewane.”

Fashion also took center stage, with Mawra Hocane shining in a scarlet Gemy Maalouf gown, Mahirah Khan stunning in an ivory Iqbal Hussain sari paired with a green choker, and Hania Aamir going modern in a midnight-blue velvet set by Mihha. Shuja Asad stood out in a dark-green embroidered Nomi Ansari coat.

Event highlights:

Ramsha Khan, alongside Shuja Asad, closed the show with a nostalgic tribute to Nazia and Zohaib, performing “Disco Deewane.”

Mawra Hocane dazzled in a scarlet Gemy Maalouf gown, focusing on clean lines and graceful movement rather than heavy embellishments.

Mahirah Khan kept it classic in an ivory Iqbal Hussain sari, enhanced by a green choker and a sleek bun.

Hania Aamir embraced modern elegance in a midnight-blue velvet set by Mihha, paired with bold statement earrings.

 

Shuja Asad broke away from the traditional black-tie look with a dark-green embroidered Nomi Ansari coat.
