Stage set for semi-finals in 4th CNS All-Pakistan Hockey Tournament tomorrow

LAHORE: The stage is set for the semi-finals of the 4th Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS) All-Pakistan Hockey Tournament, which will take place Friday (tomorrow) at the National Hockey Stadium, Lahore.

Four top teams, Pakistan Navy, Pakistan Air Force (PAF), Mari Energies, and Pakistan Customs, have qualified for the semi-finals following intense league matches earlier this week.

In the first semi-final, Pakistan Navy will face Pakistan Air Force, while the second clash will feature Mari Energies taking on Pakistan Customs, with both matches expected to draw strong crowds and deliver high-octane hockey action.

Thursday was observed as a rest day, giving teams time to regroup and prepare. The league stage concluded on Wednesday with two exciting matches that finalized the semi-final line-up. In the first game, Port Qasim and National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) played out a thrilling 3-3 draw while the second encounter saw Pakistan Army overpower Pakistan Rangers with a commanding 5-2 victory.

The CNS Hockey Tournament has brought together top talent from across Pakistan, with fans witnessing impressive performances, tactical gameplay, and strong team spirit throughout the league stages.

On Saturday, the third-place playoff will take place prior to the final while the grand final of the 4th CNS All-Pakistan Hockey Tournament will be graced by top Pakistan Navy officials along with former Olympians and hockey legends.
