Prince Harry hurls serious accusations at Royal family following meeting with King Charles

The ongoing reconciliation efforts between Prince Harry and his father, King Charles III, have encountered yet another obstacle after the Duke of Sussex accused sources within the royal family of attempting to sabotage their relationship.

A royal source told the Sunday Times that the palace is “saddened and perplexed” by Harry’s statement, particularly as senior aides have been working behind the scenes to repair the delicate bond between father and son. Friends of King Charles are also reportedly disappointed by the claims.

Harry’s comments came after a report from The Sun, which described his September 10 meeting with the King as “distinctly formal” and left the Duke feeling more like an “official visitor” than a close family member. The 54-minute encounter, the first in over a year, was perceived by Harry as lacking warmth.

In response, Harry’s spokesperson quickly denied the report, calling it “categorically false” and accusing “sources intent on sabotaging” the reconciliation efforts of fabricating the story. The spokesperson further confirmed that Harry had brought personal photographs and videos of his children, Archie, 6, and Lilibet, 4, to the meeting, including a framed photo for the King, though the image did not feature the Duke and Duchess themselves.

Despite Harry’s recent visit to the UK, which included a brief trip to meet his father, a royal insider emphasized that Harry and Meghan Markle would not be permitted to serve as part-time royals. “The King is a forgiving man but has been absolutely clear in upholding his late mother’s decision that there cannot be ‘half-in, half-out’ members of the working royal family,” the source noted.

While tensions persist between the Sussexes and the royal family, Harry’s spokesperson reiterated that the focus for the Duke remains on his relationship with his father, refusing to comment further on other royal matters at this time.
