Driving without a license will lead to prison in Islamabad starting October 1

ISLAMABAD: Authorities in Islamabad have announced a new and strict policy for those found driving without a valid license. Beginning October 1, anyone caught driving without a license will face arrest and legal charges.

Under the new directive, vehicles operated by unlicensed drivers will be seized, and the offenders will also be barred from receiving character certificates until they obtain a valid driving license.

This measure aims to enforce traffic regulations more effectively and curb unlicensed driving within the city. The traffic police have confirmed that the new policy will apply across all areas of Islamabad, and they are preparing for a surge in enforcement operations to penalize offenders.
