The fellowship, taking place from December 5 to 7, 2025, in the Philippines, will gather 30 emerging leaders from 27 countries. ASP Naqvi gained widespread attention in 2023 after rescuing a woman from a violent mob in Lahore’s Achhra Market, an act that cemented her reputation for bravery.
Her accomplishment is part of a larger trend of Pakistani women officers earning international recognition. In March 2025, Anum Khan Muhammad Sher of Sargodha City Police Station received the Excellence in Criminal Investigation Award at the World Police Summit in Dubai. In October 2024, Rawalpindi Chief Traffic Officer SP Beenish Fatima was named to the IACP 40 Under 40 list in Boston for her leadership and contributions to policing.
