BATTAGRAM: As rains and flashfloods continue to wreak havoc in Pakistan, a Battagram man lost his entire family to floodwater in the Battagram area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Narrating the tragic incident on camera, the sole survivor of the family said the tragic struck at around 4:00 AM when he and his family were asleep. He said that someone woke him up and told him that floodwater has reached his village.
He said that he tried to flee along with his wife and children but they were caught in the rushing water and swept away.
He said that his wife and children slipped from his hands, but he managed to swim out of the floodwater. Giving details of his lost family members, he said that his children were 10, 8, 4 and 2.
