Monsoon rains cause 8 fatalities in the last 24 hours

ISLAMABAD: As the monsoon rains continue to disrupt daily life across Pakistan, the death toll from weather-related incidents has risen to eight in the past 24 hours. The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) reported that Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa recorded three deaths and five injuries, while Islamabad and Gilgit-Baltistan each reported two fatalities. Sindh also recorded one death.

Punjab has been the hardest-hit province, facing the highest number of fatalities and injuries so far this season. The ongoing monsoon rains have caused widespread damage and devastation, further compounding the challenges faced by affected communities.
