Justin Bieber Shares Emotional Struggles and Anger Issues in Heated Text Exchange

Justin Bieber is opening up about his emotional struggles after a heated text exchange led him to sever ties with a friend. On Sunday, June 15, the 31-year-old singer shared screenshots of his messages on Instagram, revealing a conversation that highlighted his internal turmoil.

In the exchange, Bieber expressed frustration over being criticized for his anger, which he described as a response to trauma. “I would never suppress my emotions for someone,” he wrote, adding, “My anger is a response to pain I have been thru.” He further clarified, “Asking a traumatized person not to be traumatized is simply mean.”

His friend attempted to defend themselves, acknowledging Bieber’s anger but expressing discomfort with the lashing out. Despite this, Bieber made it clear that he could no longer continue the friendship. “Ouch. This friendship is officially over,” he said, followed by a scathing remark about his friend’s character. “I thought u were a p—- which is why I always kept my distance,” he added.

The exchange escalated with Bieber sending a middle finger emoji and telling his friend to leave him alone. In a follow-up post on Instagram Stories, Bieber seemed to address everyone who had expressed concern over his well-being, telling them to stop asking if he was okay. “Quit asking me if I’m okay. Quit asking me how I’m doing,” he wrote, emphasizing that everyone faces hardships, and he didn’t want unsolicited advice.

Bieber’s posts continued with reflections on his emotional state. “People keep telling me to heal,” he wrote. “Don’t you think if I could have fixed myself, I would have already? I know I’m broken. I know I have anger issues.” He went on to express that his efforts to change had only made him feel more tired and angry. “The harder I try to grow, the more focused on myself I am,” he shared.

In a more hopeful note, Bieber mentioned that his faith in Jesus was what kept him grounded. “Jesus is the only person who keeps me wanting to make my life about others,” he said.

The singer’s emotional posts came amid Father’s Day celebrations. Bieber, who welcomed his first child with wife Hailey in August 2024, shared photos and messages marking the occasion. Despite not receiving a public tribute from Hailey, Bieber posted a selfie on Father’s Day with a caption that read, “I’m a dad that’s not to be f—– with.”

Later that day, he shared that he and Hailey had returned from a date night, adding that he received several gifts to mark his first Father’s Day as a dad, including a luxury watch and other high-end items.
