Brad Pitt and Ines de Ramon are making the most of their time together before Pitt’s F1 press tour kicks into full gear. A source close to the actor reveals to PEOPLE that the 61-year-old Oscar winner is back in the U.S. after wrapping up two months of filming Heart of the Beast in New Zealand, where he faced challenging conditions in rugged, rain-soaked locations meant to replicate the Alaskan wilderness.
Now back in the U.S., Pitt is enjoying “quality time” with de Ramon, 35, spending time together in both Los Angeles and Carmel, California. According to the source, the couple is taking advantage of this downtime before Pitt’s promotional tour for F1 begins later this month ahead of the film’s release on June 27.
“Ines will attend some public events with him,” the insider adds. “They are still doing great. She’s perfect for him. She’s very supportive and excited about his career.”
Pitt recently spoke about his relationship with de Ramon during a GQ interview, where he was asked whether their first public appearance as a couple at a Formula 1 race last year was a calculated move. Pitt responded, “No, dude, it’s not that calculated. How exhausting would that be… if you’re living with making those kinds of calculations? No, life just evolves. Relationships evolve.”
Another source told PEOPLE that de Ramon has been a calming and supportive presence for Pitt, especially following his divorce from Angelina Jolie. “There’s no pressure between them,” the insider explained. “She gives him space when he needs it, but is always there when it counts.”
The couple, who began dating in 2022, is in a “really solid place,” the source added. “Ines has brought a lot of peace into Brad’s life. Their relationship has been easy and natural.”
