Zardari stresses dialogue for democracy, institution strengthening

LAHORE: President Asif Ali Zardari highlighted the importance of political dialogue and mutual understanding to sustain democracy and reinforce state institutions.

He said inclusive consultation and cooperation across society are essential to resolve public issues effectively.

Zardari shared these views during a meeting with a Pakistan Peoples Party delegation from south Punjab at Governor House Lahore.

The delegation briefed the president on the region’s longstanding challenges, which were discussed in detail.
