Jennifer Lopez Shares Happy Relationship Update After Divorce From Ben Affleck

Jennifer Lopez is embracing her single life after officially finalizing her divorce from Ben Affleck in January 2025. The singer and actress, 55, recently provided an update on her relationship status following her lively performance at the American Music Awards on May 26, where she shared a playful moment by kissing both a male and female dancer.

During the event, comedian Tiffany Haddish humorously suggested that Jennifer should “save a dancer” for her, since Tiffany herself is single. However, in a later interview with Access Hollywood, Jennifer made it clear she is not currently interested in dating.

“She said that to me!” Lopez recalled. “I said, ‘Girl, I’m not looking for no man. I’m happy right now. I’m not trying to ruin it, okay?'”

Jennifer and Ben Affleck ended their marriage after less than two years. Although they separated in April 2024, Jennifer officially filed for divorce on the second anniversary of their Georgia wedding, in August 2024. She reportedly filed the papers herself in Los Angeles County Superior Court, asking that neither party receive spousal support.

Their relationship has a long history, beginning in 2002 when they quickly became one of Hollywood’s most talked-about couples. After ending their first engagement in 2004, they rekindled their romance nearly two decades later in 2021. They married quietly in Las Vegas in July 2022 and later celebrated with a larger wedding party in Georgia in August 2022.

In a recent interview with Spanish publication El País, Jennifer reflected on her personal growth since the divorce. She described herself as “happier” and proud of guiding her children through tough times. “It’s a great time to go out there and dance and sing and have a good time with everybody. This is a perfect time,” she said.

Following her AMAs appearance, Jennifer announced she is returning to Las Vegas for a second residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Titled “Jennifer Lopez: Up All Night Live in Las Vegas,” the residency will run for four nights from December 30 to January 3, with additional shows planned in March 2026. Tickets will go on sale June 6.

Sharing a futuristic promotional poster on Instagram, Jennifer wrote: “SURPRISE JLOVERS! We’re back! I’m doing a residency in Las Vegas! Join me for Up All Night Live In Las Vegas at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Dec 30 – Jan 3 & select dates in March! Tickets on sale Friday, June 6 at 10 AM PT.”
