Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and Sindh cabinet ministers praised the Pakistani armed forces for defeating Indian aggression and uniting the nation during Yaum-e-Tashakkur celebrations at Nishan-e-Pakistan, Sea View, Clifton. They declared that India’s arrogance was shattered within hours, and its superpower image reduced to dust.
The event, organised by PPP Karachi Division, featured patriotic songs and a 40-foot float honoring the military’s success. CM Shah thanked PPP leaders for arranging the event and praised the unity and courage shown by Pakistan’s armed forces, vowing that India would no longer dare threaten Pakistan.
Sindh Energy Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah expressed gratitude to Allah for victory and paid tribute to martyrs. Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon called the day historic and said Pakistan’s triumph over India would be remembered in golden letters.
PPP leader Faryal Talpur described the victory as a symbol of national unity and military valor. The celebrations concluded with a fireworks display, attended by prominent provincial ministers and officials.
