The Director of Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) in Thatta, Jaffar Hussain Panhwar, carried out surprise inspections at distribution centers, including in Makli, in response to multiple complaints about illegal deductions from payments to eligible women. During the operation, authorities successfully blocked six devices used by those involved in the illicit deductions. Director Panhwar confirmed that the government had disbursed Rs 13,500 to over 80,000 deserving women in the district, with various distribution points set up for easier access to funds.
