Three militants killed in intelligence-based operation in Balochistan

RAWALPINDI: Security forces on Tuesday killed three khwarij during an intelligence-based operation in Turbat, Balochistan.

The operation, carried out in Kech District, was launched following reports of the militants’ presence in the area. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces effectively engaged the khwarij at their location, resulting in a fierce exchange of fire during which three militants were killed.

The ISPR further stated that the operation is ongoing, with security forces conducting a sanitization effort to eliminate any remaining militants from the area. The military’s media wing reiterated that Pakistan’s forces are committed to eradicating terrorism and ensuring the safety of the nation.
