Heritage harmony

At Punjab University, we first enjoyed Sports Week, and in the end, we gathered to promote the cultures that exist in Pakistan, especially Pashtoon, Sindhi, Punjabi and Balochi cultures. From Bhangra beats to Rubab melodies, Sindhi Ajrak to Balochi embroidery, and delicious cultural cuisines at themed stalls — this day was a beautiful tribute to Pakistan’s diversity!

It was a memorable day, and everyone forgot their bigotry towards each other and spread love among themselves. The most fundamental aspect was that I saw how these cultures promote love and respect for each other, and I hadn’t seen such love before. I also don’t want to forget our chairperson of the media department who provided us an excellent opportunity to conduct the festival, especially in the present day environment that is filled with bigotry and hatred. Through such cultures, we can foster a more pleasant environment.
