Abu Dhabi crown prince arrives in Islamabad for first official visit, high-level talks

ISLAMABAD: Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, is set to arrive in Islamabad on Thursday for his first official visit to Pakistan. He will be accompanied by a high-level delegation, including ministers, senior officials, and prominent business leaders.

According to a statement from the Foreign Office, the visit underscores the deep-rooted ties between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and highlights the shared commitment to strengthening economic and investment cooperation.

During his visit, Sheikh Khaled will hold meetings with Pakistan’s leadership to discuss matters of mutual interest, enhance historical ties, and explore opportunities for expanding economic collaboration. Several agreements and Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) are expected to be signed, providing a framework for long-term partnership in multiple sectors.

Officials believe that these commitments will pave the way for new joint ventures and investment projects aimed at fostering economic growth in both countries. The visit also reaffirms the longstanding friendship between Pakistan and the UAE, which has been built on mutual respect, trust, and shared strategic interests.

Diplomatic sources indicate that discussions will include trade, infrastructure development, energy cooperation, and potential UAE investments in key sectors of Pakistan’s economy. The visit is expected to strengthen bilateral relations and reinforce people-to-people ties between the two nations.
