Problems of education in Parom

Parom, which is located in the Panjgur district of Balochistan, has a population of approxi- mately 50,000. Regrettably, the state of education in Parom is deplorable. Among the 26 schools in the area, only two are functional, but not on a consistent basis. While education is the funda- mental right of all citizens regardless of gender, educational opportunities for girls in Parom are limited. The government should improve the system.
