Bid to smuggle 592gram heroin to Dubai foiled

FAISALABAD: The Airport Security Force (ASF) foiled a bid to smuggle heroin worth millions of rupees to Dubai and arrested drug peddler at Faisalabad Airport on Friday.

According to details, the ASF searched baggage of a suspected passenger Muhammad Irshad leaving for Dubai through private airline flight at Faisalabad Airport.

During search, 592 gram heroin concealed in aluminum rods placed at bottom of the bag.

The ASF seized the recovered drug valuing millions of rupees in international market, offloaded and arrested drug pusher Muhammad Irshad.

The detainee along with recovered heroin was later handed over to Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) for further investigations.
