According to media reports, concerns about the health of Accountability Court Judge Muhammad Bashir have come to light as he has requested medical leave until his retirement. Judge Muhammad Bashir is set to retire on March 14, 2024.

Sources indicate that Judge Muhammad Bashir has submitted a written request to the Islamabad High Court and the Ministry of Law and Justice for leave from January 24 to March 14.

The letter from Judge Muhammad Bashir has been received by the High Court and the Ministry of Law and Justice. It is stated in the letter that due to health issues, he is unable to fulfill his duties and complete his assignments.
