LAHORE: The Election Commission of Pakistan, in adherence to its directives, has introduced an SMS service, accessible by sending a text to 8300, to provide comprehensive information regarding voters’ constituencies, including the National Assembly and Provincial Assembly.
As per the spokesperson, voters can now obtain details such as statistical block code, serial number in the electoral roll, household number, National Assembly constituency number, district name, Provincial Assembly constituency number, district name, electoral area name, and the telephone number of the relevant District Election Commissioner. Additionally, the SMS service will provide the helpline number and information about the Election Commission of Pakistan’s website.
