Missing footpaths

Sidewalks are designed for people to walk instead of having to use the roads. Unfortunately, pedestrians face much difficulty in walking along the roads owing to encroachments on pavements. This not only hinders the free movement of people, but also increases the risk of accidents, especially for those with disabilities or the elderly. Moreover, some homeless people or beggars sleep on sidewalks, while others set up stalls on them. Sidewalks are meant for business. It is crucial to keep the sidewalks clear and accessible so that people may use them safely.
