By Huma Mir
In honour of my father, so brave and true,
I pen this tribute, filled with gratitude.
A hero he was, in every sense of the word,
His courage and strength, a stone-like heard
Through trials and challenges, he stood tall,
Inspiring us all, through it all.
In his eyes, I saw a fire burning bright,
A beacon of hope, in the darkest of night.
He taught me to be fearless, to never give in,
To fight for my dreams, and let my soul sing.
He marched with honour, in life’s battlefields,
A shield for his realm, a sword he did wield.
His faith was fierce, his compassion profound,
A pillar of strength, forever renowned.
He was a scholastic teacher, wise and kind,
Unraveling mysteries, expanding the minds.
He shaped futures, like a sculptor’s touch,
Imparting lessons that meant so much.
He taught me the value of kindness and grace,
To lend a helping hand, in any time or place.
His bravery echoed, like a thunderous roar,
Filling our hearts still, forevermore.
Though he is gone but, his spirit lives on,
In memories cherished, his legacy strong.
I’ll carry his courage, deep in my heart,
So here’s to my father, my hero, my guide,
Whose love and bravery will never subside.
I raise my voice in tribute, forevermore,
For the bravest father, I deeply adore.
