‘Arrests condemned’: PTI serves show cause on Khattak for ‘inciting workers to quit party’

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tehreek -e -Insaf (PTI) has issued show cause notice to Pervez Khattak over his reported activities of contacting party members and inciting them to leave the party.

PTI Secretary General Omar Ayub Khan on Wednesday issued him the show cause notice and asked him to explain his position in writing within seven day of this notice.

The notification reads, “It has come to the notice of the party leadership that you are contacting party members and inciting them to leave the party. In view of these reported activities, you are hereby called to explain yourself in writing within seven days of this notice.”

However, it was said that if his reply was unsatisfactory or he did not respond, further action would be taken as per party policy and rules.

Arrest of Ghulam Sarwar, Mansoor, Ammar condemned

Meanwhile, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Secretary General Omar Ayub Khan strongly condemned the unlawful detention of PTI leaders – Ghulam Sarwar Khan, Mansoor Hayat Khan, and Ammar Siqqique Khan and said that this imported government’s days were numbered.

The PTI Secretary General said that Ghulam Sarwar Khan, Mansoor Hayat Khan, and Ammar Siqqique Khan were implicated in politically-motivated cases that were based on malafide intent.

“This imported government’s days are numbered and the people will make their decision at the Polling Station,” he added.
