LAHORE: Police has made progress in investigation of the murder of former SP Farhat Abbas Shah, citing department sources.
Police has arrested two suspects in the murder, sources said. His brother’s widow has been involved in the murder crime, police sources claimed.
“The CIA team has arrested two accused in murder of Farhat Abbas Shah,” SSP CIA said. “Police team will interrogate the arrested suspects,” SSP said.
“His late brother’s wife, Hira aka Sana, had made a thorough plan for murder of Farhat Abbas in collusion with her security guard,” CIA officer said.
“Widow of his late brother planned the crime over a property dispute,” SSP said.
Funeral prayers of Farhat Abbas were offered in Patoki, attended by hundreds of people including police department officers and local notables. He was laid to rest at a graveyard in his native area Baharwal Kalan.
