ISLAMABAD: Polish Ambassador Maciej Pisarski has expressed his belief in Pakistan’s potential for economic growth despite its current challenges. He praised the country for its beauty, advanced road network, and potential for energy self-sufficiency.

Poland, he said, is providing assistance to Pakistan in the exploration of gas reserves.

The ambassador also highlighted the Polish efforts in supporting refugees from the Ukraine war and the promotion of employment and trade in the region as a solution to improve the situation.

He noted that trade between Pakistan and Poland is expected to increase and that there are ample educational opportunities for Pakistani students in Poland.

The Ambassador emphasized the availability of study visas for genuine students, but warned against those seeking a Schengen visa through Poland.
