HANGU: Two traffic police personnel were martyred in firing of unidentified armed motorcyclists here on Monday.
This was the second terrorist attack within days in Hangu. A few days back, terrorists had attacked an oil well and had killed a guard and kidnapped a company official at an oil well.
According to details, unknown gunmen riding a motorcycle sprayed bullets at traffic police personnel in Doaba area of district Hangu of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Two traffic police personnel engaged in routine duty were martyred in firing and the attackers fled the scene.
The bodies of martyred cops were shifted to hospital for postmortem. The police cordoned off the area after the attack and started search operation for the assailants.
