First ever Pakistan, Morocco joint drill concludes

ISLAMABAD: A joint counter-terrorism drill between the special forces of Pakistan and Morocco has concluded, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Saturday.

The Pakistan-Morocco Bilateral Joint Exercise 2021, the first-ever between the two militaries, was held at the National Counter-Terrorism Centre (NCTC) in Pabbi town of Nowshera District in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

During the exercise, the two forces practiced various drills including cordon and search, compound clearance, close quarter battle, fast roping, rappelling and combat medics, said the ISPR press release.

The training was aimed at sharing mutual experience in the counter-terror domain, rehearsing and adopting best practices and enhancing cooperation between the two militaries.
