Five killed, eight injured in road crash

ISLAMABAD: At least five people, including four students, were killed and eight others injured in a road accident in Gojra city, media reported Tuesday morning.

According to the reports, the accident took place when a rickshaw and a bus collided.

All the victims were shifted to a nearby hospital, rescue officials said. The rickshaw driver also died in the accident.

Rescue officials said the bus driver, allegedly responsible for the accident, absconded from the site.

The ill-fated bus was heading from Faisalabad to Chishtian.
