NCOC daily report: 2,580 new cases, 71 deaths from Covid-19

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan reported 2,580 new Covid-19 cases over the last 24 hours, the National Command and Operation Centre said on Sunday.

The NCOC, a department leading the campaign against the pandemic, said that the country’s total cases have risen to 1,223,841, including 1,132,726 recoveries.

According to the NCOC, the pandemic killed 71 people over the last 24 hours, increasing the overall death toll to 27,206.

Sindh is the worst-affected province by the pandemic with 450,126 infections, followed by Punjab which has reported 421,800 cases.

The NCOC said the country has administered 72,986,511 doses of vaccine and had fully vaccinated 23,966,026 people as of Saturday night.
