ISPR announces new postings for Rawalpindi Coprs Commander, others

Pakistan army on Tuesday announced new postings and appointments in its ranks, according to information provided by the army’s military wing.

According to a statement on Tuesday, the Inter-Services Public Relations said that Lieutenant General Sahir Shamshad Mirza has been posted as the Commander Rawalpindi Corps.

The ISPR said that Lieutenant General Muhammad Chiragh Haider has been posted as the Commander Multan Corps and Lieutenant General Azhar Abbas appointed as the Chief of General Staff.

Similarly, Lieutenant General Muhammad Waseem Ashraf has been appointed as the Joint Staff Headquarters director-general.
