A crisis for the microblogging site Twitter, already struggling to stay financially afloat, emerged when the total number of its accounts dwindled down to three on Saturday.

“I am alarmed by the situation,” said Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey. “I would like to say to Eleuia, Eloxochitl and Ahuiliztli to continue with us in these tough times and keep tweeting and consuming tweets.”

In light of recent developments, Twitter has set up a camp head office in the village of Todos Santos Cuchumatán. “We need to make sure that these three say nothing pRoBlEmAtiC,” said Vijaya Gadde, Head of Legal, Policy and Trust. “I am personally camping outside the village. These ladies better not mess up.”

STOP PRESS: the total number of uncancelled Twitter followers came down to two after Eleuia Paz, one of the three, tweeted how, growing up, her brother was better at math than her at school.
