ISLAMABAD: A smart lockdown has been imposed in Sectors G-9/2, G-9/3 and Markaz Karachi Company areas of Islamabad to prevent the spread of coronavirus and inducing necessary measurements in high-risk areas.
It may be mentioned here that more than 13,116 violations of health guidelines were observed across the country within 24 hours. More than 1,541 markets, 33 industries and 1,429 vehicles were cautioned, fined, sensitised and sealed in this regard.
In Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT), 44 hotels, 120 shops and seven industrial units were closed over 255 SOP violations.
Federal and provincial authorities are ensuring compliance with health guidelines, particularly in working places, the industrial and transport sectors, as well as markets based on Test, Track and Quarantine (TTQ) strategy.
A total of 1,292 smart lockdowns over 308,600 of the population has been imposed throughout the country.
To ensure the implementation of the health guidelines and preventive measures, special teams are operating across the country to ensure that the SOPs are being implemented.
