Covid-19 has taken Pakistan by storm, many lives are lost, and thousands are affected. But it seems like this is not an epidemic after all. The government says that the public is dying in need of the resources at their homes and the most funny part is that it said that the people only shop during the Eid season, otherwise don’t shop at all. but since the lock down was eased and markets are opened, the people are walking around like they do in normal days, they also feel like that is not an epidemic at all, others are just coughing normally and they are ineffective of this virus. They are neither seen wearing a face mask not the shopkeeper instructs them to wear one, they all believe it’s nothing or they are immune to this disease.
Not only the people are blind but also the Government, who also believe this is not an epidemic at all. The cases have reached a peak level and over 1000 lives are lost in a matter of days and they all think this is not true at all or nothing like this happened. It pretends that the people cannot live without food and clothes at their homes while people are going shopping like they were not suffering at all. Then for what reason the lock down was eased? Is the Covid-19 pandemic even real or it’s just a nightmare in our dreams? When this not an epidemic at all then why are the cases increasing or people dying? Does government has an answer to it or they have no answer at all?
