KARACHI: A local court here on Saturday granted bail to the six trade leaders of Karachi, who were arrested by police a few days back for opening shops and markets in violation to lockdown.
Judicial Magistrate South heard the bail applications of Hamad Punawala and five other arrested traders and granted them bail against a surety of Rs1,25,000 each.
Other trade leaders who were arrested by the police included Muhammad Ahsan, Muhammad Khalil, Javed Abdul Shakoor, Malik Aqeel and Faisal Hassanzai.
