Sindh minister Saeed Ghani tests positive for coronavirus

Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani tested positive for coronavirus on Monday.

Choosing to reveal the news through his Twitter account, the minister released a public statement video saying that although he felt fine, people who had been in contact with him should be wary.

“The previous day I got myself tested for the coronavirus and the results came back positive. However, I am not feeling any of the symptoms of the virus as yet and feel completely fine but people whom I came in contact with with a few days ago to isolate themselves and go into quarantine,” he said.

“If your health deteriorates further, please get yourselves checked by a doctor. I consider it my responsibility to inform people so, that those who came into contact with me can also quarantine and self-isolate themselves as I may have transmitted the infection to them,” he concluded.

In a tweet, Sindh Governor Imran Ismail announced that he would self-quarantine for 24 hours while his test results were pending. He added that he had recently met Saeed Ghani, while also advising others who had met him to get themselves checked.
