Six officials of the Sindh Revenue Department were suspended on Sunday for taking a selfie with a person who had tested positive for coronavirus a few days ago.
Khairpur deputy commissioner’s (DC) office issued a notification stating that six persons were suspended for taking a selfie with a coronavirus patient who had tested positive for COVID-19 after returning from Iran.
The DC also called on the relevant authorities to quarantine the officers for 14 days to prevent the spread of the highly-contagious disease.
