KARACHI: Sindh police late Friday night recovered an infant girl, who was kidnapped the same day from the limits of Shahra-e-Noor Jahan police station.
One-and-a-half-year-old Aaima was kidnapped by a beggar from her house as reported by her father to the police authorities.
A First Information Report (FIR) was immediately lodged and the police initiated the search.
Later in the day, the Station House Officer (SHO) at the Shahra-e-Noor Jahan received informed about Aaima, who was identified by her parents.
Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Hassan Javed said efforts are being made to apprehend the kidnapper.
