WHO designates coronavirus test centres in Pakistan

LAHORE: The World Health Organisation (WHO) has designated test centres in several cities of Pakistan after two cases emerged in Karachi and Islamabad on Wednesday.

In Karachi, test centres were set up in Agha Khan Hospital and Jinnah Post Graduate Medical Center, whereas in the National Insitute of Health and Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences will deal with the suspected coronavirus cases in Islamabad.

In Lahore, the Services Hospital will test the cases, while in Peshawar, a centre has been set up at Police & Services Hospital located on Police Road.

In Quetta, Fatima Jinnah Chest and General Hospital and Sheikh Zahid Hospital will collect samples and send them to NIH Islamabad.
