ISLAMABAD: President Dr Arif Alvi on Friday called the parents of martyred Pakistan Air Force (PAF) officers Squadron Leader Haris bin Khalid and Flying Officer Ibadur Rehman to condole with them over deaths of their sons.
Haris bin Khalid and Ibadur Rehman embraced martyrdom when a PAF aircraft, which was on a routine training mission, crashed in Miawali on January 7.
During the conversation, President Alvi prayed for peace of the departed souls as well as for the fortitude of bereaved families.
