KARACHI: A minor boy was killed and two other persons of a family were injured in the firing of unidentified armed men in the city in the early hours of Friday.
According to police sources, the firing incident occurred at Gharibabad Mohalla near Jamali Goth and resulting in the death of a minor, Maid Jamali, aged 6, and injuries to Shazia, aged 25, wife of Sajan Jamali, and Yaseen, aged 4, son of Taj Muhammad. The accused managed to escape from the crime scene.
The body of the deceased and the injured were taken to a nearby hospital.
Police sources said that the attackers and the victimised family are close relatives, who originally belong to Shahdadkoat and the matter seems to be of personal enmity. Sohrab Goth Police Station Station House Officer (SHO) said that a case has been registered and further investigation started.
