LAHORE: An official of Dolphin Force was martyred in an encounter with armed dacoits on Mehmood Booti Bandar Road, area of Lahore on Sunday.
According to reports, the Dolphin Force team No 362 was on routine patrolling when dacoits started firing on policemen on seeing them coming towards their hideouts.
In exchange of fire, Dolphin Force official, identified as Constable Mohsin, was injured in the crossfire and succumbed to his wounds later.
A Dolphin Force spokesperson said that the search for the suspects is underway.
