90,000 fake twitter accounts lay down their handles

In a massive cancellation of fake Twitter accounts, the management of the microblogging site has accepted a surrender of around 90,000 fake Pakistani twitter accounts.

“The drive by the twitter authorities, whose codename in the organisation was Operation Jackpot, was launched early last night and didn’t take long to achieve completion,” said Twitter spokesperson Lisa Yao.

The leader of the fake accounts group, A. A. K Niazi, said that they will live to fight another day. “We will teach them a lesson as one of ours is equal to twenty of theirs,” he said. “It’s true, since one of ours has to handle twenty accounts.”

“Such things happen in Fifth Generation warfare,” said independent analyst Farhan Virk, himself a recent casualty. “It’s all part of the game.”

“Speaking of game, now that I have some free time on my hands, would you guys be interested in a quick game of PUBG?”
