LAHORE: The sister of Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi passed away in Lahore on Friday.
The news was broke by Foreign Office Spokesperson Dr Muhammad Faisal through an early morning tweet.

The deceased, who was suffering from cancer and was under treatment at a private hospital in Lahore, breathed her last in the wee hours of Friday. She is survived by her son Pir Zahoor Hussain Qureshi who is a member of the National Assembly.
The funeral will be held today at her native village Chak 15L/44, Mian Channu Tehsil of Khanewal District at 4:30 pm.
President Dr. Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Imran Khan have expressed grief over her demise.
