KARACHI: At least 150 more dengue fever cases were reported throughout the Karachi city in 24 hours, taking the reported cases toll to 4,563 since 1st January 2019.
According to the weekly report issued by Prevention and Control Program for Dengue (PCPD) Sindh, as many as 167 new dengue fever cases were detected across the Sindh province in a day, out of them 150 emerged from Karachi and 17 from other districts.
In October, a total of 1,641 dengue positive cases detected across the province out of which 1,517 were confirmed from Karachi and 124 from other districts.
A total of 16 people had been died from dengue fever in Karachi city this year so far.
This year, a total of 4,858 dengue cases have n emerged in Sindh province so far out of which, 4,563 were reported in Karachi and 295 in other districts.
