KARACHI: As many as 195 more dengue fever cases were reported in Karachi city from October 17 to October 23, taking the patients toll to 1,726 in the city since January 1 this year.
According to the weekly report issued by Prevention and Control Programme for Dengue in Sindh, at least 195 new dengue fever cases surfaced in the city in a week and a total of 501 cases have been reported in the month of October from Sindh province.
In Karachi, 1,726 cases have been reported throughout the city. A total of 11 people, including seven male and four females have already died from dengue fever in the city this year so far.
A total of 1,744 dengue fever cases were reported in Sindh so far, out of which 1,726 were reported in Karachi and 18 from the rest of the province.
