KARACHI: Pakistan Meteorological Department on Friday forecasted that a mild heatwave is likely to affect Karachi till September 24.
The Met Office said that the maximum temperature was likely to remain in between 38 to 40 degrees with surface wind expected to blow from Northeast.
Last year, a drastic heatwave, coincided with the power outage, killed 65 in Karachi in three days.
