KARACHI: Another train escaped from an accident on Sunday as the train driver violated the red light at Landhi Railway station and putting hundreds of passengers lives at stake.
The driver of Jinnah Express coming from Lahore broke the signal at Landhi railway station while Sukkur Express was already on the same track before the close signal.
Station administration timely shifted the Jinnah Express on other track while the railway officials reached the spot after getting information and started the investigation.
It is pertinent to mention here three days ago, the Jinnah Express heading to Lahore from Karachi had hit a stationary freight train, killing its driver, assistant, and guard.
