GILGIT: To overcome energy shortage and start a new era of development through enough power energy resources, the Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) government is executing small power generation projects.
In this connection, the foundation stone of 3.5 MW hydel power project at Bagrote will be laid on Saturday.
One the same day, groundbreaking ceremony of one MW hydel power station will also be performed in Danyore.
Both power projects would be completed at a cost of 645 million rupees.
Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Minister Hafiz Hafeez-ur-Rehman will perform groundbreaking of the two projects.
