KARACHI: Paksar Zameen Party (PSP) senior leader and general secretary Mir Attiq Talpur on Sunday made a hairbreadths escape during an assassination attempt at him in Defence Housing Authority (DHA).
According to the police, Mir Attique was travelling in his car with his family when armed persons on board another vehicle opened fire on him in Khiaban-e-Shahbaz.
Some bullets hit the bumper of the car but Mir Attique and his family members remained safe in the attack. The attackers fled the scene.
As per police spokesperson, Sindh IGP Dr Kalim Imam while taking immediate notice of the incident has ordered a report on the matter from SSP South Muhammad Shah.
