2019 seems to be the year of biopics like Manikarnika – The Queen of Jhansi, Shakeela and Gunjan Saxena are already in the pipeline, another major biopic titled PM Narendra Modi is expected to hit the screens as well.
According to Times of India, the role of the Indian Prime Minister will be played by Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi, who is now known as Vivekanand Oberoi. Veteran actor Paresh Rawal was initially roped in to play the role but the actor backed out due to unknown reasons.
Directed by Omung Kumar, the first poster of the film will be out on January 7, 2019.
The biopic on the life of the Indian PM was announced four years ago and the shooting will begin from mid-January 2019.
